Welcome to my blog!
As you can see from the title, this blog is going to discuss the art, culture, religion, food, and history of India in my point of view. An American teenage girl. I was born and raised in New Jersey with only my family and a few visits to my motherland to link me to my roots.
Growing up in a South Indian household has given me a more mature and refined view on the world's culture and beauty. I feel that I have a less myopic view on the world because I was raised to embrace my culture as well as others'.
In writing this blog, I hope to reach out to even just a few of you.
I have two goals:
(1) I want to enrich your lives with whatever knowledge I have on Indian culture in a relatable way; from one American to the next.
(2) I want to help you guys gain a more open-minded view of the various cultures that inhibit this world and why accepting them will leave you more perspicacious.
